"for Liz" was written between Febuary and April 2025 by Emerson Borakove to be performed by the Sybarite 5.
It is dedicated to the sound artist Liz Phillips , whose advice and presence has always made me grow.

I tried to make something that spoke to an internal light, something that could snap someone to attention. The improvised parts are an attempt to make the performers lead by example.
